I call George because my Chicago Electric plasma cutter would on work for just a few seconds. He walked me through everything to check out. After checking it all out I found that it was not grounding good to the metal I was cutting. I took a grinder and cleaned the metal and it started cutting correctly. I would recommend him to anyone who is having problems with their plasma cutter. He also has a lot of your regularly used equipment on his ebay page. George is a great person to take his time on the phone and work with people, who have very little knowledge of the machine, and make them understand it much better. Thank you a bunch George. My old PC3500 from Harbor Fright quit cutting so I opened it up and found just fragments of what looked like a diode, scattered around inside the unit. After examining the circuitboards, I found two holes shere the part had unsoldered its self and flew out of the board. I could'nt find enough of the pieces of the part to identify it, so I tried contacting harbor fright for parts or a schematic. They were no help, so I started searching the internet and found George. He went right to work and found a complete circuit board in his shop, and gave me the part numbers and instalation polarity, and where I could buy the diode for 63 cents. I got the diode and soldered it in, and my cutter works great ! I offered to send George somthing for his time, but he said " just think of me if you need to buy another plasma cutter or any parts". Thank you George for your expert help and for saving me the cost of a new machine.

I barrowed a Chicago Electric plasma cutter from a friend and it suddenly stopped working. I assumed it was something serious. I opened the machine and checked various connections for power with a multi-meter. I couldn’t see anything out of place and the machine was getting power past the breaker. I found George on Google and called his shop. He didn’t answer and I didn’t leave a message. He did however call me back just a minute later. I explained the issue over the phone and proved to be very knowledgeable and eager to help. George was able to track the problem to the plug that was only delivering 120V to the machine rather than the full 240V. George’s help was invaluable and I was greatly relieved that I did not have to buy my friend a new plasma cutter. I was instructed by my friend to write George’s number on the side of the plasma cutter just in case his machine ever needs work. Thanks for your help George.

I first came across George's add on Craigslist while looking for a plasma cutter. I then saw that he sold items on Ebay, from there I found his website. After reading the testimonals I decided to call him. He was very friendly and helpful on the phone. The next morning I drove down state to see what he had for sale. He explained the differences in the units that he had. I picke dthe plasma cutter that I liked the best and he plugged it in and fired it right up for me. He proceded to show me had it worked and made sure that I was understanding of the operation. He made sure that I had enough consumables to last me for a while, thanks George. I HIGHLY recomend that if you're in the market for a plasma cutter or anything metal related talk to him first. You will not be disappointed !!

I could not possibly give anyone a higher recommendation. I ended up spending three hours talking with George. He effectively gave me a full class on plasma cutting and maintaining my cutter. He answered all of my questions. I also bought a welding helmet and got a full lesson for that as well. By the time I got home, I was ready to go. On top of it all, George saved me a bunch of money over what I would have paid at Harbor Freight for almost no service. Well worth the trip. 5+ Stars!

I purchased a miller performance welding shield today that I saw on clist. After speaking with George on the phone I headed to Del. What a pleasant surprise, a honest man who insisted i run stringers with the different helmets b4 I made my choice. Where else can u do that and by the way the price was tops and product was brand new in the box. Truly a rare find in these times. Thanks George

An absolutely great person to work with. I told him of my problem with my Chicago Electric Plasma cutter- model # 95136 and he told me exactly what to look for and helped me to solve the problem. He had the replacement torch head in stock and very reasonably priced. He shipped it out to me very quickly. I made the necessary repairs and my plasma cutter works like new now. Thanks so much George for your web-site and your knowledge. Thank you for carrying the parts for Harbor Freight's product and at a great price. I will definately be buying my expendable parts and any future repair parts from you. Thanks so much George.

I had a never-used Chicago electric 40A 95136 shipped out to the Islands from KY, it didn't work and the overload light was on from the get-go. George doesn't know me from Adam but when I contacted him, he sent back email right away with helpful information for troubleshooting. I am very grateful for his selfless service and encouragement. We found the wire to the thermal overload switch disconnected and it's fixed. Thank you George for your help. Will always contact you and your ebay store for parts first. Aloha, and a big mahalo from Oahu.
